At the Key Clamp Store, we’ve designed our product codes to make it as simple as possible for you to find the right fitting for your project. Each code follows a consistent two-part format that identifies what type of fitting it is and which tube size it fits.
This means you can quickly understand a code at a glance and easily match fittings with your required steel tube diameter.
How to Read a Product Code
Let’s take the example: 104-D48
104 → This part identifies the fitting type. In this case, “104” refers to a Long Tee Fitting, one of the most versatile and widely used connectors in key clamp construction.
D48 → The second part indicates the system classification and tube size. The letter D refers to the system, while 48 shows that the fitting is compatible with 48.3mm outside diameter tube.
This straightforward format ensures you always know what you’re ordering, reducing the chance of mistakes.
Standard Tube Size Systems
Our fittings are available in a range of standard systems based on the outside diameter (OD) of the steel tube.

Interchanging Sizes
One of the most convenient features of our coding system is that you can often change the size of a fitting simply by adjusting the second half of the code.
For example:
104-D48 → Long Tee for 48.3mm tube (System D48)
104-B34 → Long Tee for 33.7mm tube (System B34)
The fitting type (104 = Long Tee) remains the same, but the system code changes to match the tube size you need.
