Why you should use a Key Clamp System for your structure.
If you are looking for a simple, fast and reliable way to build handrails, guardrails, barriers or other structures from steel tubes, you might want to consider using a key clamp system. A key clamp system is a modular system of fittings that can be easily attached to steel tubes of various sizes and shapes, without the need for welding, cutting or threading. In this article, we will explore some of the benefits of using a key clamp system instead of welding tube together.
After over 20 years in Oldbury, we are moving to new premises in Kingswinford. We aim to offer better stockholding, increased manufacturing capacity and most importantly, better service to our customers nationwide as we move - along with other companies in our group - to Pensnett Trading Estate, Kingswinford.
From October 23rd 2023 we will be solely based within this new unit and all orders and collections will be processed from our new site.
TUBE LENGTHS UNDER 1.6M CURRENTLY BEING SHIPPED AS NORMAL
NORMAL DELIVERY TO RESUME THIS WEEK - (all being well!)
Sadly it is taking a lot longer to get set up with a new courier due to the influx of people moving over from Tuffnells.
We have 2 new couriers coming on board and are currently awaiting account setup.
We are in the meantime attempting to make deliveries using our own fleet where viable as well as palletising some orders and using dedicated freight.
Orders for fittings are unaffected, and we are currently sending items under 1.6m in length with DHL.
We apologise for the delay and understand your frustration in having to wait, we thank those that understand our predicament and support us at this time.
Unfortunately, our main logistics supplier, Tuffnells has now 'officially' broke the news that it has gone into administration.
We are in advanced talks with couriers to pick up on the delivery of larger items from ourselves, anything over 100cm in length will be delayed by 2-3 days as it stands while we get set up and switch over to a new provider. Unfortunately we were not notified about the potential of this happening, but rest assured we are working as fast as possible to ensure the best way forward for our customers.
We still havent been notified 'properly' by Tuffnells or a representative, and we are instead relying on Social Media and News Reports to piece together the story as it unfolds. This is typical of how Tuffnells operates, and we look forwards to improving our service with another courier (or couriers) who offer a better, more communicable approach to delivering.
Our main IDW specialist courier, Tuffnells is due to formerly announce it is in administration today.
We have used Tuffnells extensively for years, but unfortunately it seems that this is due to come to an end today.
All of our items were left uncollected on Friday, so deliveries for today are affected, plus several other items that were already in the delivery pipeline with Tuffnells are also due to be affected.
Staff have been notified that a meeting will take place today at around mid-day 12/06/2023 and we expect news to filter through soon afterwards. We are hopeful of a positive outcome, not just for ourselves, but for the 1000's of staff and drivers who have had a weekend of misery.
WE WILL NOTIFY ALL CUSTOMERS AFFECTED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE WITH A CONFIRMED COURSE OF ACTION
WE ASK FOR PATIENCE AT THIS TIME AS YOU CAN IMAGINE
